Golf at Twin Creeks
Today, Sunday, November 28, 2010, I played golf with Kan and Bruce. We started from the 10th tee around 11 a.m. and finished about 3 p.m. We met Bruce for the first time. He moved here from Chicago about eighteen months ago. After moving to the Twin Creeks community, he joined the Twin Creeks golf club for over $7,000 for seven years. He thought that was a wonderful deal. He sometimes plays with his wife and sometimes plays with others just like he did today with us.
Since he lives in the community around the golf course, he knows what's going on in the community. Some newly built houses are very large, around 20,000 square feet. Some of the large houses around the course sell for three million dollars. Some of the large houses are still under construction.
The wind was very strong while we were playing. The wind speed was 28 miles/hour when Bruce checked at the 8th tee ground. Bruce played about the same level as we did. Bruce's had many wonderful driving shots and many excellent putts. At the 3rd tee, he drove about 300 yards when the wind was behind us. Kan lost six golf balls and I lost three golf balls. Kan had +39 above pars and I had +23 above pars.
