Golf Swings - Both Hands Work in Unison

In the past few weeks I hardly had time to write what I was thinking. One of the reasons is that the markets have been very volatile. Besides studying the markets, I put quite some time in the driving range or playing the 18 holes.

In the last couple of days, I felt that I had some improvements in my swings. This was the first time I ever felt the benefits of both hands working in unison. Since then I have been able to identify the reasons for hitting the ball at the top or hitting the ground to deep. When my left hand is leading the swing, it is likely to top the ball. When my right hand is trying to hard during the swing, it is mostly likely that I hit the ground before hitting the ball. When both hands work in unison, then the swing is beautifully smooth. Since both hands are working together, it is very natural for the swing has a nice following-through. I still have to think about enforcing my both hands to work together.

One of the greatest improvements is for working with my hybrids. Before discovering the unison movements of both hands, I could not use my hybrids very well. It was very likely for me to top the ball or hitting the ground before hitting the ball. In most cases, my right hand was trying to enforcing a hard swing. Now I feel that the swing has to come naturally with the body movements lead by the unison movements of both hands.

In summary, I feel there are three critical elements in swings. (1) Look at the ball all the time before the club hitting the ball. (2) Swing at the right tempo, not too fast and not too slow. (3) Both hands work in unison. If I can do all three things right during the swing, there is a great chance I can hit the ball square and far.
